We are seeking a Lead Assistant to join our team — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail focused environment and takes pride in creating seamless event experiences from setup to send-off.

Position Overview

  • Serve as the primary on-site support to the Lead Planner during weddings and events
  • Oversee setup, timeline management, and strike while maintaining Blanc Events’ polished aesthetic
  • Direct and manage assistant and setup teams; ensure tasks are completed efficiently and elegantly
  • Liaise with vendors to confirm logistics, deliveries, and layouts on event day
  • Maintain communication with the planning team to ensure timing and flow are seamless
  • Provide hands-on styling assistance for décor, tablescapes, and ceremony details
  • Support clients and guests with professionalism and warmth throughout the event
  • Troubleshoot calmly and proactively; adapt quickly to changes while maintaining a composed demeanor

  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, or wedding coordination encouraged
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs before being asked
  • Ability to lift 25–30 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Availability on weekends and select weekdays for event load-ins and rehearsals
  • A polished, professional appearance and an appreciation for luxury design and service
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

The Lead Assistant supports the execution of high-end weddings and social events, ensuring every detail aligns with the client’s vision and our brand standards. This person will work directly alongside the Lead Planner/Designer to manage logistics, oversee vendor teams, and guide supporting assistants throughout the event day.
This position is ideal for someone who is organized, poised under pressure, has an eye for aesthetics, and understands the art of exceptional service.
